
When Kanu was brought to the Federal High Court in Abuja by heavy security operatives on Tuesday, he revealed this.
The IPOB leader, who was blindfolded and escorted into the courtroom by DSS agents in handcuffs and with his legs chained, asked the presiding Judge, Binta Nyako, for permission to address the court and present his side of the story.
Kanu told the court that his house had been unlawfully invaded by security men, and that his life had been seriously threatened.
The Nigerian government charged Kanu with terrorism, money laundering, treason, and other charges on October 14, 2015.
Justice Nyako revoked his bail conditions on March 28, 2019.

According to another source, Kanu was arrested abroad and flown back to Nigeria on a plane on Sunday. He was arraigned before Judge Binta Nyako on Tuesday.
The agitation for Biafra continues till this day and has been given momentum by Nnamdi Kanu. Nigerian authorities however clamp down heavily on the separatist groups and blames Kanu’s social media posts for a spate of violent attacks across the southeastern part of the country.
